The Master of Technology programme is a two-year AICTE-approved postgraduate degree offered across five specialisations — Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Forensics, Machine Design, and Structural Design — providing advanced theoretical and applied expertise in each field. CSE develops competency in cloud computing, distributed systems, advanced algorithms, and intelligent architectures. Electrical Engineering advances knowledge in power systems, HVDC transmission, electric vehicle technologies, and smart energy management. Cyber Forensics trains specialists in digital evidence acquisition, malware analysis, dark web investigation, mobile device forensics, and the legal standards governing admissibility of digital evidence in Indian courts. Machine Design deepens expertise in stress analysis, finite element methods, topology optimisation, and precision mechanism design using ANSYS, CATIA, and SolidWorks. Structural Design develops advanced proficiency in seismic analysis, prestressed concrete, steel structures, and software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, and SAP2000.
Each specialisation is anchored by a research dissertation addressing a current industrial or scientific challenge. Graduates find placement in R&D departments, public sector undertakings, national security agencies, infrastructure consultancies, and academic institutions, with strong positioning for doctoral research, GATE fellowships, and technical leadership roles.
Candidate should have completed B.Tech/B.E in the relevant field with at least 50% (45% for SC Candidates of Haryana) marks in aggregate along with the valid GATE Score.
